I saw one post with an amazing story that makes so much sense with the particular actors and I've just been obsessing over this story because it's so simple but has so much potential. I really think if it were to be made into an actual movie it would be definite Oscar material. And I'm very picky when it comes to things like this, having been raised by parents in the film business.
And I just really badly want to write this movie or at least contact the person who came up with the idea and see if they'd want to collaborate on it or SOMETHING I mean this movie HAS to be made.
Here's the synopsis:
EVERYBODY LOVES YOU
STARRING: Billie Piper, Benedict Cumberbatch, David Tennant & Helen Mirren
SONG: Everybody Loves You - Jenn Grant
Following the lives of three people after the one person they all love, Becca (Billie Piper), dies in a shocking accident: her mother, Joan (Helen Mirren), husband, Henry (David Tennant) and Quentin (Benedict Cumberbatch), a co-worker whose tender friendship with Becca was complicated by more intense feelings. Intercut with memories, they deal with their longing, guilt, anger, grief and profound love for one woman while attempting to find their way through a world without her. There would be loads of great close-ups of Billie and lots of sad quiet moments punctuated by a really emotional score (ABEL KORZENIOWSKI, I AM LOOKING AT YOU SIR). Also Benedict Cumberbatch would win, literally, all the awards for his performance as Quentin, a restrained man who falls impossibly in love with his only friend and loses her, and is unable to mourn her loss openly.
